Recently, CATL and Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Company of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. (Dongfeng Nissan) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Shanghai. The two sides will establish in-depth, full-chain collaboration in battery technology R&D, product innovation, and market expansion, exploring a new synergistic model integrating R&D, production, and marketing.
CATL will prioritize the application of advanced technologies such as superfast charging, CIIC integrated intelligent chassis, and 800V high-voltage platform in the development of Dongfeng Nissan models. It is planned that by 2026, multiple models equipped with jointly developed battery systems will enter the market, providing consumers with a more diverse range of high-quality products.
